Mother’s day, a time to honor the maternal figures in our life. It’s also a time to reflect on our own maternal intuition and where it has brought us so far in this journey.   As I prepare to become a mother for the first time I am learning firsthand the importance of taking care of myself and my unborn child. That's why this Mother's Day is particularly special to me this year, and years to come. Not only am I celebrating the amazing women who raised and influenced me, but I am also reflecting on the type of mother that I want to be.
